Tourist Atractions in the Hakone and the Mount Fuji Area
There are numerous tourist attractions in the Hakone area, besides many fine ryokan and onsen, there is museums, gardens, parks and golf courses. There are geographical sections which you can use for reference to find a place, such as: Yumoto, Gora, Sengokuhara, Motohakone, Lake Ashi, Iriuda, Hatajuku, Ashinoyu, Kowakudani, Hakonetouge, Tonosawa, Miyanoshita, Ninotaira and Hakone.A List of Golf Courses in the Hakone area:

Hakone Yumoto Station is the entrance or gateway to the Hakone region. Very close to the station you will find:

and a TIC - Tourist Information Center.
A French style rock garden at the foot of Mount Sounzan. At Gora is the terminal station of the local train called Hakone Tozan Tetsudou (Hakone Tozan Railway). From Gora, you can take the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and go to the top of Sounzan Mountain, which has a splendid view of Mount Fuji. From the Souunzan station, take the Hakone Rope Way and go to Owakudani, where another beautiful view of Mount Fuji and Lake Ashinoko is awaiting you!
An aerial transportation route using Gondolas and suspension cables. Hakone has two aerial cable routes: one travelling between the Sounzan Station to the Owakudani Station, and the other travelling between Owakudani Station and the Togendai Station.
Hakone Visitor Center will help you find any information for the area, there is a giant, wide display screen that will introduce you the natural surroundings of Hakone.

To get to the Hakone Visitor Center, take the Hakone Tozan Bus bound for Kojiri-Togendai from Odawara Station, get off at Kouen-kanri Jimusho. Time of trip: 60 min
One of the sightseeing highlights of Hakone! The Owakudani valley is a volcanic area where sulfurous fumes arise, as you walk around small bubbling pools of mud. Again, the dominant image of Fuji-san is spectacular, this breath-taking view can be seen from above volcanic gorges in the area.
