How to get the Kawaguchiko Lake | Tokyo Surroundings
If you are staying in downtown Tokyo you can get to the Kawaguchiko area from either the Tokyo or Shinjyuku Stations.

Train
By way of Shinjyuku

Note: The bus terminal is located near the electronic appliance store called Yodobashi Camera. The ticket office is in the Yusuda Seimei Building on the ground floor.
There is 1 or 2 departures per hour. The bus number is 50.

Free Pass - Rail and Bus Transit
JR Line and Fuji Kyuko Line together offer a Free pass for traveling around the Kawaguchiko and Saiko areas.

A free pass you can take Tenjou-san Ropeway and Kawaguchiko Lake Cruise. The fare is 1200 Yen for adults 600 Yen for children under 12 years old. You can buy the pass (ticket) at Kawaguchiko station, Lake Cruise Port, and The Tenjouzan ropeway station. Expiry: Only Good for one day
