Kawaguchiko Herb Garden
A herb garden by the lakeside where 150 kinds of herbs grow. Enhanced with seasonally
flowers, like lavender, the fragrance of the flowers is everywhere. The views
of Mt. Fuji are also very splendid.
Open: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (18:00)

Tenjou-san Ropeway (Gondola)
A great spot to enjoy a wonderful view of Mt.Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. On a clear,
sunny day the vistas are overwhelming!
Available time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (17:00) . Open 365 days.
The schedule varies seasonally, but usaully runs every 5 or 10 minutes. It is
10 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station to the Ropeway station.
Fare 700 Yen for round trip ticket.
Kawaguchiko Cruise
A 30 minute cruise with a splendid view of Mt. Fuji. The shape of Mt. Fuji is
reflected on the surface of Lake Kawaguchiko which always fascinating.
Fare 900 Yen for adult. It is a 10 minute walk from Kawaguchiko
Station to the port.
Mountaineering from Mount Fuji
From Kawaguchiko Station, you can take a mountain bus called Tozan Bus that takes
you to the 5th level of Mt. Fuji. Most climbers start climbing toward the summit
from this level. Remember, climbing Mt.Fuji is challenging even for a experienced
mountaineers. The air is thin and could cause disorientation. Be prepared and
always think safety. Show respect towards Fuji-san.
The 5th level is at 2305 meters above sea level and it is high enough to enjoy
a great view. The 5th level is higher than the clouds and you can see clouds
spread like a carpet in the sky on the way to the 5th Level.

Fares From Kawaguchiko station to Gogoume (5th level)
One way: 1700Yen. 2000 Yen for Round trip ticket. It takes about 70 min. In the
summer, departure is once per hour.
