Japanese Travel Phrases Series B | Part D

Dining in a Restaurant in Japan: includes ordering coffee, dessert and paying the bill

Japanese travel phrases are presented in 3 language formats:
English, Kanji and Romaji

Part A includes entering a restaurant, being greeted for seating and a few situations you might encounter in finding a table.
Part B includes ordering Japanese food from a menu
Part C includes special ordering ( preferences) from a menu

Note:You are welcome to use them freely, print the page for reference while travelling in Japan.

Wakarimasita. Soredeha, Kore to Kouhii wo hitoru.
53 When would you like to have your coffee. Before the meal? Or after the meal?
Kouhi wa itu omochi shimashou? Shokuzen desu ka? Shokugo desu ka?
54 Coffee After / Before the meal, please?
Shokugo ni / Shokuzen ni onegai shimasu?
55 Check (Cheque) please!
Okanjou onegai shimasu.
56 Can I pay by credit card?
Credit Card wa tsukae masuka?
57 Sorry, we don't accept payments by credit card.
Sumimasen, Kaado deno Oshiharai wa uketamawatte orimasen.
58 OK, I will pay by cash.
Wakarimahsita. Genkin de harai masu.
59 Please give me a receipt.
