Selecting proper sizes when buying underwear in Japan
Since Standard Japanese Sizes are very different from Standard American Sizes, you might have difficulty in selecting clothes in proper size. Especially, selecting proper size for underwear is really difficult but crucial, as it is necessary to fit your body with comfort.
The following is measurement charts to compare Standard Japanese Sizes and Standard American Sizes for female underwear (panties).
While sizes differ depending on each manufacture, based on standard body (female) dimensions used, the charts are to use just as a reference, though, I hope it would be of help when buying underwear in Japan.
(FYI) LL denotes Extra Large in Japan.
